YOUR BRAND IS YOUR
MOST IMPORTANT ASSET
You would all like to believe that you know how important your brands are. Your company or team name, your product branding, these are your identities. Via your branding you start to tell your story. You spend significant amounts building your brands. You advertise, you market, you reward. Your focus is to try and ensure your customers can trust your brands for their quality, their value and their user friendliness. You realise your image is critical . . . . . or do you?
How many of you when it comes time to select a product for a promotion, staff or team uniforms or for a merchandise program focus on a product simply because it’s the cheapest price? WRONG!! Very simply, IF YOU PLACE YOUR BRAND ON AN INFERIOR PRODUCT, YOUR BRAND WILL TAKE ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THAT PRODUCT AND LOOK CHEAP. We call it the “car wash principal”, whereby cheap polo’s or t-shirts are likely to finish up (after being worn once) as a car washer. That is not what you want.
